HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR
The Skagit Adventist High School choir is composed of grades 8-12.
The choir performs a Christmas concert in December and a spring concert
in May. In addition, it performs once a year at a local church, and goes on
tour as well. Two years ago the choir tour went to Lewis County and
Shoreline. In 2013 it went to the greater Vancouver, B.C. area.
The choir’s repertoire is diverse and challenging, offering the students
a taste of the great choral works available to singers. Choir members
learn to sing as an ensemble, breathing, tone support and control, blend,
dynamic control, articulation, and reading skills. We expect our singers to
attend all performances and to contribute to the overall success of the choir.
Choir members also have solo opportunities.
